Here are some helpful things to remember about your session or FAQ
1. Your investment is very important to me. I go into each session excited and open to new ideas. I love for you to share thoughts, props, or location ideas to make your session even more individual to your family.
2. I often get asked "What should I/we/they wear?" If you are unsure, please ask for my "What to wear" email attachement with some helpful tips and ideas!
3. How long will my session last? Newborns typically last 2 hours, and all other sessions tend to last an hour and a half. It's expected that newborn sessions will factor in feeding, diapering, and soothing time. Please don't feel that you have to rush this time. A well fed baby is a happy baby. I don't want to cut their feeding time.
4. What if my toddler/ child won't pose or sit still? I don't really do posed sessions, especially for children. I'm quick, and I have a preschooler and toddler, I've learned how to photograph them and often the best photos are of them just being themselves.
5. I'm shy but I would like to do my maternity session bare, is that Ok? Of course! Most my maternity sessions have some like that, I don't always post them for privacy reasons.
6. Can I order prints through you even though I get printing rights? Yes, and I hope you do. Although I give printing rights, your quality of print from me will far exceed your print from Walgreens.

The most important thing I can think to say about myself is that I'm a mom of 3 beautiful spirited girls. My oldest has perfectly executed wit and charm, and will one day delight us all with her culinary creations. My middle will one day rule the world while wearing a dress and waving a sword. My youngest will no doubt climb every mountain she encounters and I mean that literally, but I'm sure figuratively as well. I have a great husband who basically excels at everything he does, including making me happy. He can probably beat anyone (besides myself ) in Saved by the Bell trivia, and while I'm bragging I should mention that I have vast knowledge of Full House episodes. We have a chocolate lab named Izzy named after Izzy Stradlin from Guns N' Roses , and just recently moved to Webster Groves.
Thank you for visiting my website. I do my best to be flexible regarding bookings. Please note that I am often booked months in advance for weekends, so if you know you will be needing me for a weekend, please contact me as soon as possible. I do sessions 7 days a week, mornings and evenings. I understand that babies get crabby, kids get sick, and toddlers get.. well toddler like, so please feel no pressure during your session if things aren't going the way you imagined. Often the best photos are captured during an unexpected moment. I've had my blankets pooped & peed on, my backdrops ripped, my camera poked at, and I have been known to leave with spit up on my clothes. I'm a mom of 3, with a strong stomach, and a good sense of humor. I understand that a professional photographer is an investment, but I aim to be affordable and can work with you if you let me know your needs.
